Bobby Brown was released from the Broward County jail shortly after
midnight on Thursday. He has served 65 days of a 75 day sentence. Bobby
was met by Whitney Houston in a white stretch limo as well as by a candlelight vigil led
by hundreds of cheering fans and a candlelight vigil led by comedian Chris Rock.
'He was smiling and waving and obviously happy to be out,' said Jim Leljedal, a
spokesman for the Broward County Sheriff Department.
Chris Rock apparently yelled through a megaphone 'Bobby, we've come to get you'
and the crowds that had gathered chanted and cheered along on his instruction. |
