Bobby Brown was rushed to a
hospital early Wednesday after suffering a seizure that his publicist said was caused by
    heat exhaustion.

Brown's wife, Whitney Houston, called 911 at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, saying that Brown was
having a seizure and needed help, according to police in the couple's hometown of Mendham,
New Jersey. She accompanied him in the ambulance to an emergency room in nearby
    Morristown.

A representative for Brown and Houston's publicist said he had been recording
"nonstop" for days and hadn't been getting enough fluid. He was released after
    90 minutes.

In response to reports that Brown who spent time in a Florida jail for violating
probation on a 1996 drunk-driving arrest by failing to take a drug test refused to
provide blood and urine samples, the spokesperson said Brown was feeling fine when he got
to the hospital and he didn't think the samples were necessary.

The spokesperson said Brown will get some rest and return to recording his album soon.
