Duet Denied...

[PR Inside Report]

Carey Laughs Off Houston Duet Rumours

MARIAH CAREY has rebuffed speculation she plans to record a duet with WHITNEY HOUSTON, in a bid to reignite the troubled singer's career.

Houston has been dogged by reports questioning her health and alleged drug use in recent months, but Carey insists she is not aware the I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU star is experiencing any problems.
She says, "I did not say (we'd record this duet), because to me that sounds like I'm saying she has a problem, and I wouldn't say that. I haven't spoken to Whitney in a long time.

"When I knew her, she was really fun and cool and just one of the most talented people in the world, so, of course, I support her, but I would never say she's going through a hard time because she never told me that."

Whitney Back In Church...

[AllHip-Hop Report]

Whitney Getting Closer To God

Whitney Houston is reportedly getting closer to God and not in the way Prodigy of Mobb Deep rapped about. Word has it, Whitney Houston has made a huge leap forward. The megastar has returned to her roots - CHURCH. Yep. There are images of the singer floating online where she is enjoying a Sunday out. I'm hoping these are current and praying that she's getting better fast. We are indeed rooting for her.

Michael Bolton...

[Starpulse.com Report]

Michael Bolton Keen For Whitney Houston To Sing One Of His Songs

Crooner Michael Bolton is keen for ailing Whitney Houston to return to glory - because he'd like her to sing one of his songs, and perform it with her.

Houston is reportedly struggling to overcome a relapse of drug abuse problems that has stalled her comeback, but the When A Man Loves A Woman singer Bolton is among the big names rooting for her.

He says, "I'd really love to have Whitney Houston sing one of my songs... I've met and done fundraisers with her, I've never performed with her. She has a voice, an instrument and also a soul that I would love to have singing my songs. I'd love to have Whitney step up and deliver something with all she's got."

Bolton's songwriting credentials are unparalelled - among the 150-plus stars who have performed his tunes are Barbra Streisand, Kiss, Cher and Joe Cocker.
