Crunk King, Jon's most recent album has
hit the two million-sale mark and the rapper is most excited with it. But
his focus presently is the Anger Management 3 tour, which also has
blockbuster rappers Eminem and 50 Cent. The tour is scheduled to start on
July 7th in Indianapolis.
Speaking on the tour, Jon says, " I think it's going to be the biggest tour
of the summer. We're gonna do a lot of planning and really try to make our
show incredible. By the end of the show, people are gonna be ready to go
home and take a shower because of all the energy. Even though crunk music
don't really need no props. We just go out there and hit them so hard -- so
with the effects on top of that, it's going to be crazy!"
G Unit, D12, Obie Trice and newcomer
Stat Quo are expected to accompany the three stars on the tour. Jon expects
something new to come out when they all get together. “Being on tour with
all those characters, we might end up doing some records together," he adds.
To add to this mayhem, Jon is also busy with the script for a feature film,
What?, which he says will be like Friday, the 1995 Ice Cube hit.
His diary has also managed to pack-in time for an upcoming single for fellow
Atlanta rappers Youngbloodz. Plus he'll be working on
Whitney Houston's next record.
A real busy summer ahead for all you Jon fans. Anger Management will also be
the first tour Eminem has done since his album Encore. The tour is slated to
conclude in Detroit at Comerica Park.
