Moby, Whitney, Foos Added To Awards Line-up
Buff new recruits have been added to the performers line-up for the MTV Europe
Music Awards 2002, in the shape of Moby, Whitney Houston, and Foo Fighters. The
mouth-watering additions join the previously announced acts, Robbie Williams, Coldplay,
Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias, Pink, and Wyclef, all providing musical refreshment
at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on Thursday November 14.
Moby, also nominated for Best Dance and Web Award gongs at this years ceremony, will
perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the second time in three years, having caused
Europe-spread dampness with his bombastic rendition of Porcelain at the 2000
awards in Barcelona. Whitney Houston, whose eagerly awaited new album Just Whitney
is just around the corner, will also notch up a second MTV Europe Music Awards performance
having belted out Its Not Right But Its O.K at 1999s
ceremony in Dublin. Foo Fighters, however, will lose their MTV Europe Music Awards
performance virginity in Barcelona, as they perform at the Awards for the first time.
New guest presenter additions at this years Awards include: The Calling, Kelis, Las
Ketchup, Jade Jagger, Papa Roach, and Pet Shop Boys. These new additions join previously
announced presenters including: Kylie Minogue, Ms Dynamite, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Ronan
Keating, Pharrell Williams from N*E*R*D, Pierce Brosnan & Halle Berry, Spanish
supermodel Esther Caņadas, Holly Valance, Sugababes, Nick Carter, and Tiziano Ferro, with
many more still to be pulled out of the bag.
Master of Ceremonies at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2002, is the artist formerly known to
his mates as Puff and to J-Lo as The Daddy; the unmistakable slick-hop Bad Boy - P Diddy.
And don't you forget it, bitch.
