Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown attended the Elton John party first followed by the Vanity Fair party. They did not have an entourage of any kind with them, just their agent and their ever-present state of the art Security Team that blends in so well that most people thought they were there without security. Whitney and Bobby are cutting edge. They do realise that the old 350 pound, no neck, knuckle draggers are out, drawing too much attention and causing lawsuits. Whitney's "Secret Service" type security are intelligent, well mannered, well dressed and extremely well versed in their craft. They are no joke and they do protect her like she is a head of state. Whitney and Bobby spent the evening chatting with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones as well as Donatella Versace and of course Elton himself. At the Vanity Fair party they chatted to Harvey Weinstein (owner of Miramax Films), Ben Stiller, Paul Sorvino and Courtney Love to name but a few.
