It was always impossible for those two franchise artists that were 100% owned to become 50% owned [by BMG] when they accounted for $350 million in revenues from their latest albums. So that was never on the table. But the list of artists that I did submit--100% of them--did come to J Records, first with the consent of BMG and then from the artists themselves."
