Not long after making up a review of Whitney Houston's 1 July Atlantic City show, New York Post are now getting a bit hot under the collar having been exposed as liars. They write: MEMO to Whitney Houston: knock it off. Call off the bombardment of e-mails defending your performance July 1 in Atlantic City. It doesn't matter how many messages are sent to PAGE SIX disputing how the diva's voice cracked and how she didn't finish some songs, as we reported on July 6. It's clear this is an organized campaign - and we won't be intimidated. Though fans are being urged in chat rooms to "e-mail them [us] again and again," actual concert-goers are posting reviews that jibe with our version of events. "Shame on Whitney for scheduling two shows on consecutive days," wrote AirTranDan of Philadelphia. "And shame on me for spending $200 and having a dreadful time. This will be the last Whitney concert I will go to." Letters to the New York Post have been sent because Whitney's fanbase are tired of the lies, not because of any organised campaign. Why are we still not seeing an apology from Paula Froelich for the lies in her report? The New York Post has a responsibility to report the truth. They also cite 'AirTranDan''s comments - clearly reaching now if they can only come up with someone who hasn't even produced his real first name. Where does he say that he saw Whitney sing 'American Pie' or 'Star Spangled Banner'? Paula Froelich has a lot to answer for and she should be held accountable for her report. If you feel strongly enough about this, please feel free to email the New York Post asking for this to happen. The New York Daily News report by Mitchell Fink clear puts a more accurate spin on Froelich's lies.
