Bobby and Whitney Reveal Intimate Secrets

He's done his time, she's gotten sober, and now Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown are coming clean. The celebrity couple is revealing some shocking and intimate secrets from behind the closed doors of their turbulent showbiz marriage.

America's most talked-about couple finally tells all in a no-holds-barred interview with Jamie Foster Brown, publisher of Sister 2 Sister magazine.

"(Houston) said, 'I was a functioning junkie,'" Brown revealed, adding, "And they do hit each other, but both of them have told me she hits him more so than he hits her."

During the interview, Whitney also dropped the bombshell that Bobby stole her away from secret love Eddie Murphy. According to Brown, "She was with Eddie for two years and Bobby said, 'Eddie couldn't handle her."

The interview, which appears in the magazine's June issue, comes right after their first public appearances since Whitney got out of rehab and Bobby got out of jail.

Whitney also confessed to Brown that she's been a lifelong drug addict, and even worse than many had feared. "She said she got the drug habit from the 'hood, before she met Bobby."

The singing superstar further revealed that it was her mom, Cissy Houston, who convinced her to get treatment after threatening to take away Whitney's daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

The couple also said they've decided to try and save their 12-year marriage after the ugly spat last year that landed Bobby behind bars and reportedly sent Whitney into a drug tailspin. "They're in marriage counseling together," Jamie told us.

She also revealed that the couple is trying to have another child. "They said, 'We're working on it now.'"

And so begins what appears to be a fresh start for Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. Their issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine hits newsstands next week.
