[From Yahoo News]Outkast claim double triumph in BET awardsOutkast were double winners at the first Black Entertainment Television Awards. They were named best male group and won video of the year for Ms Jackson. Whitney Houston was honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the inaugural ceremony in Las Vegas. Outkast member Andre 'Dre 3000' Benjamin said of the awards: "It gives us an opportunity to play black music. "It's kind of like a landmark. This is our first, like, real award." Christina Aguilera and Luther Vandross performed two of Whitney Houston's songs before she came on stage to a standing ovation. Houston sang two songs before her mother Cissy Houston and young daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown presented her award. "God has blessed her with a glorious talent that will never be forgotten," said Cissy. Other performers included Outkast, Destiny's Child, who
won best female group, Lil' Bow Wow, winner of the viewer's choice award, Snoop Dogg,
