Whitney's DIY reality show

Whitney Houston doesn't get much movie work these days, so she's decided to make one all by herself. Well, with a little help from her husband Bobby Brown, that is.

The couple arrived in London on Wednesday with a two-man film crew of their own, then hired extra technicians to help shoot their 'home-made' reality show.


Yesterday, their film unit shot them shopping in Harrods, where they had been given a special 25 per cent discount.

Later, they were hoping, if security would allow it, to pose outside Buckingham Palace and other historic locations around town.

Perhaps the most unusual item on the itinerary, according to those staying with them at the Dorchester, was Mr Brown's plan to visit Brixton in South London.

Members of Brown's posse claim he wants to sniff that fine air along notorious Coldharbour Lane, hang out with his homies and relax which, I guess, is perfectly legal.

Once upon a time, Whitney had the world at her feet, and even though she was rather bland (some wicked people who obviously won't go to heaven referred to her as 'Witless') she had a great voice.

Anyway, after her London visit, Ms Houston will link with her aunt, Dionne Warwick, and Natalie Cole for a series of diva gigs in Germany from July 2.

Later, she'll start work on a new album that reunites her with legendary record executive Clive Davis, who made her a star in the first place.
