Whitney Houston To Return To Big
Screen Opposite Husband Bobby Brown
(6/23/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- Whitney Houston
and Bobby Brown are in talks to hit the big screen together according to
People magazine. Houston and Brown would be the stars of Beffy And Charlie,
the story of two musicians who are also gangsters.
Brown said that the two would "be singing, robbing, stealing--a lot of
things people might not want to see us do."
Houston has previously starred in 1992's the Bodyguard, 1995's Waiting To
Exhale, and 1996's the Preacher's Wife. Brown's credits include 1989's
Ghostbusters II, 1995's Panther, 1996's Thin Line Between Love And Hate,
2001's Two Can Play That Game, and 2002's Go For Broke.
In related news, Houston is presently working on a Christmas album. The
singer's "Try It On My Own" is presently Number 15 on the urban AC Radio &
Records National Airplay chart. The song is the latest single from Houston's
Just Whitney which was released last December.
