The Party's Over...

WHITNEY: THE PARTY'S OVER

The full extent of Whitney Houston's battle with drink and drugs will be revealed during an interview on US TV tonight.

Speaking to ABC's Diane Sawyer on the Primetime programme, Houston candidly talks about the pressures of fame and her struggle to overcome her addiction that nearly killed her.

"My business is sex, drugs, rock and roll. You know? My friends, we have a good time. But as you get older and you get wiser - you stop a lot of the kid stuff," said Whitney Houston. "I am not sick. Let's get that straight. I am not sick, OK?"

"I don't like to think of myself addicted. I had a bad habit which can be broken. I'm not gonna tell you I'm somebody's junkie. Trust me. I partied my tail off. You get to a point where... the party's over."

But the singer strongly denied tabloid claims that she suffered from any eating disorders.

"No way," she said. "I've always been a thin girl. I'm not going to be fat, ever. Let's get that straight."

Whitney also spoke about her relationship with Bobby Brown and the strength of her religion that helped her find the "right path".

Houston's latest album 'Just Whitney' has just been released.
